Memories of Greystone . . .
Dear students, families, friends and colleagues from the Greystone community,
It’s been 2 weeks now since I suddenly left you. As I take a moment to catch my breath amidst all the
changes, I’d like to thank you for welcoming me into your wonderful learning community 5 years ago and teaching me how to be a grade 4 teacher. Where did the time go?
Thank you families for entrusting your precious children into my care and for trusting me to involve students in traditional and not so traditional learning adventures. Thank you students for having the courage to take risks as we experimented, problem solved and learned together.
As I move on, a piece of my heart will always remain with you. I wish only the best to everyone as you continue on your life journeys. I hope that our paths will cross again. When they do, please say “hello.” I may not recognize you when you are all grown up!
As always, I’ll leave you with a song…
All the best and lots of love!
Ms B. 🙂
