Hey there Ms B.’s Bloggers, I just realised that some of my students have found your awesome blog and really like it. I’ll make sure that they follow your guidelines. If you check out our blog, you will notice that we use pseudonyms, never post images of ourselves and never give any identifying information. In essence we take security very seriously and totally understand any issues. Have a great March Break from us here in Toronto. We look forward to reading more of your posts and appropriately commenting on them.

      Hi Mr. Marchanton,

      Thank you for your comment!

My students were excited to hear that students from Toronto discovered their blogs and commented on them. I will put a link to your class blog on our “Fantastic Far Away Blogs” widget so that my students can explore your blog. Some of our students may decide to comment on your students’ blogs.

Our online guidelines are also driven by safety and positivity but are slightly different than yours:
      – Students use first names as they develop a positive digital footprint which they take full responsibility for.
      – Student pictures may be used with permission but never together with names.
      – Addresses and future personal plans are never to be shared online.

I hope you have an excellent March break. Here in Saskatoon, we enjoyed a February week break and look forward to an Easter/Spring break but no March break for us.

Thank you, again, for your comment and we look forward to hearing from you and your class again!
      Ms B.
